YOUR ADVENTURE: part 9

You creep slowly by the dragon, unsure whether it’s asleep or just ignoring you. Either way you’re grateful.

You get to the door marked exit and you check the handle. Its mechanism is quiet, brilliant! You slowly open the door but as you do a large colony of bats flies at you! You shout out and furiously swat them away, being careful they don’t bite you! Being turned into a vampire is the last thing you need right now!

Once the the last few have flown past then up to the rafters, you check yourself over. Once you're satisfied that you're unharmed from the event you go to step through the door... but wait. What’s that warm feeling on my neck? No, not warm... hot!

You turn your head around and realise that, in the midst of the bat chaos, you failed to realise that the dragon had awoken! You take a big gulp and have just enough time to say ‘Oh doo doo’ before the dragon bends down and GOBBLES YOU UP IN ONE BITE!

Sadly there’s not a plaster in the world big enough for that boo boo.
