YOUR ADVENTURE: part 16

Panic sets in and you hold on even tighter! You’ve never held on to anything so hard in your life!

You feel your hands stiffen up and realise that, in your panicked state, you’re using magic to turn your hands to stone! Oh boy... there’s no letting go now.

The dragon, enraged by your behaviour, begins thrashing its head. It shakes you like jelly in a tumble dryer but you can't be shaken off, so instead it starts climbing up higher and higher into the sky.

Slowly you feel a chill start creeping up your legs and arms. You try to say something to the dragon to make it see reason:

‘S-s-s-stop-p-p-p, too t-t-t-too c-c-c-cold’ you chitter.

Up and up the dragon climbs but you can’t let go! The dragon seems to be able to keep itself warm... unfortunately you can't. After a few minutes the cold is too much. Your frozen hands slip out of the dragon's nose... but alas it’s too late as you have become every dragon's most favourite treat: a magician ice lolly! As you fall the dragon catches you in its huge paw and begins licking you with its huge tongue.

'Eww gross! What a horrible way to end' is your last thought as you slowly turn to ice. A sad end for you but hey, the dragon left the town and the villagers are safe thanks to your brave efforts so... it's not all bad!
